So Fletcher Farms is this 54-acre subdivision tucked into Michigan Oaks, where you're looking at just over an acre per lot—basically enough space to breathe without feeling like you're on top of your neighbors. Homes here run around $730K, and the thing that caught us was the proximity to everything: you're nine and a half minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, but the neighborhood itself feels removed, all those mature trees and quiet streets. There's a grocery within walking distance and restaurants everywhere—36 of them within a mile alone—plus five parks nearby if you need to get the kids outside. Mid Lake is a third of a mile away, and Grand Rapids Public Schools handles the schools. The only real head-scratcher for us at first was how fast everything sells in this area, but once we moved in, we got it.
