Creston

Creston spreads across nearly eighteen hundred acres on the south side of Grand Rapids, with Plainfield Avenue cutting diagonally through the heart of it all like the neighborhood's main artery. The Grand River runs along the eastern edge, and you've got Riverside Park—the city's largest—right there with trails that connect all the way out to the White Pine Trail if you want to keep going. Downtown is basically a quick six-minute drive north; the airport's about twenty-five minutes if you need it. The neighborhood itself is a mix of Victorian cottages, Tudor-inspired homes, and ranch-style houses mostly built between the late eighteen hundreds and mid-nineteen hundreds, which gives the whole place a real architectural texture that doesn't feel forced or theme-park-y.
