Negaunee Lake

The water here is what stops you—a private, sixty-acre all-sports lake ringed by homes with sandy beaches and long decks that face straight out to the water. Lots run generous, often an acre or more, and the shoreline itself varies enough that you get either direct frontage or that just-across-the-road setup that still feels connected to the lake life. Boating, fishing, and swimming are the obvious draws, and the lake is well-maintained and regularly stocked, so there's real reason to be out on the water beyond just the view.
