You expect a lakeside platted subdivision to deliver waterfront lots and marina access. What you actually find here is something smaller and more genuine—a quiet stretch of West Michigan where two shallow, no-wake lakes (Little Star Lake and Putman Lake) anchor a handful of modest homes tucked among the trees. The lots are wooded and generous, the roads are unpaved, and the water is genuinely clean for fishing—perch, largemouth bass, bluegill, pike. Hungerford Lake Recreation Area sits less than a mile away if you need more open space.
