Heritage Bay North

The water is close enough that you can smell it—Lake Michigan sits just a fifth of a mile away, which means morning fog and that particular light you only get near the shore. The area itself is platted and residential, the kind of place where you've got land breathing room but aren't completely cut off from the world; the nearest restaurant and coffee shop are about a mile and three-quarters out, close enough for a regular run but far enough that you're not living above a parking lot.
