Early morning light hits the tree-lined streets just right out here, when the neighborhood feels like it's all yours before anyone else wakes up. The area sits close enough to Pearl Street Park that a short walk gets you there, and Woodbeck Lake is about a mile away if you're looking to spend an afternoon on the water. A couple of parks within the immediate stretch mean green space isn't hard to find, and there's a restaurant within a reasonable walk when you don't feel like cooking. The nearest grocery is a couple miles out, which is the real trade-off—you get land and breathing room, but you're not grabbing milk on a whim without getting in the car.
