Chanterelle Meadows sits on twenty-one acres in Rockford, where wooded grounds and open green spaces give the place a settled, low-key feel—the kind of spot where you can actually breathe. Downtown Grand Rapids is about twenty-five minutes south if you need the city, and the landscape around here stays pretty rural. You've got the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park nearby, which runs nearly ninety-three miles of paved trails through the region, plus the Rogue River Nature Trail winds through with scenic riverbank walks. Lake Bella Vista is just under a mile away if you're into water, and there's a boat launch on the Rogue River about two and a half miles out.
