The location is genuinely useful: Grand Haven beach is about 11 minutes away, and you've got twelve restaurants within a mile, plus a grocery store you can walk to in fourteen minutes if you feel like stretching your legs. Lloyd's Bayou Public Access is a ten-minute walk if you want to get out on the water, and there are four parks nearby to mess around in. Downtown Grand Rapids is closer to forty minutes, so it's not a crazy commute but far enough that you actually feel removed from the rush.
