A referral engine
with a soul.
How the Generous Giving program actually works — the mechanics of the donation check, the corporate giving that runs underneath the whole brokerage, and how a local agent turns a claimed neighborhood's causes into pipeline.
How the donation check gets written.
A local cause joins the program
A church, school, nonprofit, or local charity signs onto the Generous Giving structure made available through AARE.
Their community is invited in
Supporters who need to buy or sell are introduced to a Grand Rapids Real Estate Company agent approved for Generous Giving.
The agent serves the client
The client gets normal professional representation from a local agent. The program does not add a fee to the client.
A closing becomes a gift
After the transaction closes, a portion of the company and agent commission is donated to the organization.
AARE reports typical donation checks can land in the thousands to tens of thousands. Grand Rapids Real Estate Company can bring that structure to local churches, schools, and charities here — and give agents a real reason to build relationships around shared mission.
Corporate generosity runs underneath it.
Separate from the referral program, AARE gives 20% of its own gross revenue through the Eye of the Needle Foundation. That umbrella matters: Grand Rapids Real Estate Company is local, but it is backed by a brokerage built to give.
The client chooses the cause pathway.
A buyer or seller comes through a nonprofit, church, or charity campaign, works with an approved Grand Rapids Real Estate Company agent, and the closed transaction creates the donation.
Local generosity becomes local pipeline.
For a Grand Rapids Real Estate Company agent, this can sit beside a claimed neighborhood: churches, schools, food pantries, and local nonprofits become mission partners and referral partners.
